Computer Science, University Of British Columbia, Vancouver Honestly, UBC, if you want to reject an application, you should let the applicant know as early as possible. I could have applied for the study permit a month ago for another university but was waiting for this decision, it turns out, for no reason.

Compu, University Of British Columbia Very generic reject. Pretty sad as it was one of my dream universities. Not having LORs from profs familiar with the UBC faculty might have hurt my chances given that UBC admission process is LOR centric. Best luck to the rest who are still waiting!

Architecture, University Of Waterloo After being rejected by University of Toronto's 3 years M.Arch, I was holding zero hope for Waterloo. I felt so frustrated and started to question my own abilities and career. I was thinking what I did so terrible to not being considered remotely qualified. Today I randomly checked the application portal and found there's an admission offer posted a day ago. Finally get into my top choice!!! This is literally a dream come true. Guys, don't let any school's decision affect your self-esteem. Never consider yourself being unqualified for a program, instead think they are not a great match to your background and experience. Good luck!
