Materials Science And Engineering, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) BSc in Mechanical Engineering (from a reputed university of Bangladesh) TOEFL : 108 (R 29 L 30 S 23 W 26) 3 Q1 journal publications and 3 conference papers (all international, presented in 1) Got a reply from a potential PI. Talked with him in a zoom interview. Received the email of acceptance at 7:22 PM EST.

Brain And Cognitive Sciences, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) 4 Conference pubs (3 accepted, 1 in-review), 1 workshop pub in top CS conference, 4 very strong LORs. Had first round of interviews, but was not invited to final interview stage in March. I was made aware by my POI that My CS/Engineering background did not match the profile that they were looking for in BCS. Grateful nonetheless, all the best to everyone else!
